And planning baby shower can be a lot to manage, especially when you want everything to be lovely for the mum-to-be. Our parties make wonderful baby showers for that special mum-to-be in your life!
We’ve made it super-simple with our comprehensive list of great activities…
All of tutors are all experienced crafters and creators in their own right, so you know that you will have the best advice and guidance. However, we also know just how to make the workshop fun and relaxed, so that even the most craft-averse feel comfortable.
We like to cater to all budgets and our workshop packages start from as little as £16pp for a 1 1/2hr workshop. We charge a small studio fee per person, which is included in the per person price of the chosen party.

No skills are needed, just a fun attitude. Please come “dressed for mess” and wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty, as paint might stain your clothes in the process. Aprons are provided.
Our party area includes a space for serving food and also has a set of optics drinks holders, if you would like to bring drinks.
Painting Parties:
A pottery party is both relaxing and fun, and ideal for crafty folks and mixed age groups. It is the perfect filler activity between your lunch and your evening event. As with all our parties, no experience is necessary so come along and unleash your creativity!
Once the baby is born, you could even come back to do foot or handprints in glaze on a piece of pottery as a unique keepsake.
Pottery Painting, from £16 per person, min 10 – max 48 guests (main studio) or max 20 guests (party room).
Each guest can choose from over 700 blank ceramic pieces, each priced individually. You will also be able to jointly decorate a plate for the ‘mummy-to-be’ as a keepsake. We allow 1 1/2 hours for this workshop. Your finished pieces will be fired and ready to collect within two weeks. No painting skills are needed, simply a fun, can-do attitude.

Canvas Painting £350 for up to 10 guests, £35 per extra guest up to a max of 16.
Come to a paint-a-long at Iris & Dora. Everyone will paint the same painting, interpreting the instructors directions in their own style. It’s amazing how different they will all look.
Please choose from the following options: East Coast Sunrise, West Coast Sunset, The Hanois.
Enjoy guidance from the instructor and interaction with a small group in a studio setting.
This workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
Acrylic Pouring £390 for up to 10 guests, £39 per extra guest up to a max of 18.
Experience the joy of acrylic pouring in this fun, interactive workshop. You will learn the ‘Dirty Pour’ method. We will discuss how to modify your paints with different pouring mediums and how to create different effects.
You will pour three small canvasses during this session.
In addition to our usual aprons, gloves also are provided.
This workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
Making Parties:
Pottery Wheel & Handbuilt Ceramics Taster, £45 per person, min 6 – max 20 guests.
During this workshop each guest will get to have a go at throwing a pot on the pottery wheel. Guests will also handbuild a mug onto which they can stamp a message. Finished items will be dried, fired, dipped and then re-fired ready for collection 6 – 8 weeks later.
For this workshop, long nails are discouraged and we ask that long hair is tied back and jewellery and watches are removed, open toed shoes are also not suitable. Aprons are also provided.
This workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
Mosaicing £350 for up to 10 guests, £35 per extra guest up to a max 48 guests (main studio) or max 20 guests (party room).
During this workshop you will create your own mosaic from a selection of shapes using broken china, mosaic tiles and other reclaimed materials. Included in the course is everything you need for the project including a wooden base, or similar sized shape, china, glue and other reclaimed materials. This is ideal for beginners and those who want to have a bit of fun no matter how creative you are ( or not! ). It’s an excellent introduction to mosaicing.
This workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.
Screen Printing £300 for up to 8 guests.
During this workshop each guest will create their own design and print it onto a tote bag, t-shirt or tea towel. You will also be able to jointly decorate a tea towel for the mum-to-be as a keepsake. Items can be ready to take home on the same day.
This workshop lasts approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours and takes place in our upstairs studio.
