Introducing… SGRAFFITO Evenings! We’ve got a new exciting workshop in store for all of you who love sgraffito, beautifully hand-crafted ceramics and getting creative.

Using the art of Sgraffito, you will be able to let your imagination take over and decorate a pre-made jug, professionally hand thrown by one of our experienced potters. Sgraffito is a technique where you cover your piece in glaze and then gently carve your detailed design, revealing the organic clay underneath.

This is great for anyone who’s had a yearning to have a go at sgraffito or for when you’d like to give a unique and special gift! Sgraffito is a great alternative to traditional pottery painting, you can create some gorgeous textures, patterns, and detail with the help of our master potters. We will have lot’s of examples to inspire your design or you can let your creative juices take over and create your own unique design. Our experienced potters will be on hand to offer their creative and professional advice!

Afterwards your piece is allowed to dry thoroughly before being fired (can be collected 6-8 weeks later).

Includes all materials, use of tools, equipment, materials, glazes for painting and firing of one bowl.
