The Pottery Membership

Want a home away from home to take your pottery practice to the next level? We exist to create a fun and friendly space for like-minded clay lovers to improve their craft with the freedom to practice at their own pace. If you’ve fallen in love with the medium and want to continue refining your skills, come and use our creative pottery space where you can continue to practice at your own pace. We offer access to our shared studio and use of our equipment. (wheels, slab roller, tools), providing access to a communal work space. Whether you are just starting out in clay, or an experienced artist looking for a studio in which to develop your work, a studio membership at Iris & Dora offers the space to grow in your artistic practice. Anyone with sufficient experience to work self-directed is welcome to apply. Our aim is to support new and existing ceramicists in furthering their practice. 

Casual Membership

Casual membership is sold on an ad-hoc basis with no obligation to continue. You can buy a block of 20 hours of studio access for £150 which works out at £7.50 an hour (normal price £12 per hour).  

Clay and glaze and firing are not included.

Serious Membership

Serious membership requires a minimum sign up of three months on a rolling contract with 30 days notice to terminate. It includes access during our normal pottery studio open times for up to 6 hours a week (occasionally limited access during workshops and classes) You get a personal storage shelf, advice/mentoring from our staff, 1/2 shelf/month bisque firing in one of our kilns and a reduced rate of £7.50 per hour for additional wheel hire (normally £12 per hour).

Clay glaze and additional firing not included.
